HomeMy WebLinkAbout970ORDINANCE N0. 970 1 2 3 4 51 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 Ailr ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE AMENDING COUNTY ORDINANCE N0. 8ff6 AND REPEALING SECTION V OF SAID ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISI~4ENT AND CREATION OF FIRE ZONES PURSUANfi TO SECTION 1601(a} OF THE -1964 UNT~'ORNZ BUILDING CODE AS PREPARED AND PUBLISIiED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF BUILDING OFFICIALS. The Board of Supor~risors of the County of Butte do ordain as follows: SECTION I The entire u22i.ncorporated area of the County of Butte is hereby declared to be and is hereby established as a Fire District and said Fire District shall be known as and designated as Fire Zones 1~ 2~ and 3 and each such zone shall include such territory or portions of said County as illustrated, outlined, and designated hereinafter and shown on a certain map on file in the office of the County Clerk of the County of Butte and designated as ''Fire Zones" of the County of Butte which is hereby adopted as the fire zoning map of the County of Butte for the application of the regulations included in the Unifc-'m Building Gode and appendixes, 1964 edition, as published and prepared by the International Conference of Building Officials. S1~CTION II (Fire Zone One} Fire Zone One is hereby declared to be that portion of the unincorporated area of the County as shown colored in green on the fire zone map, which is attached hereto as Exhibit roA~ and incorporated herein as if set forth in full, SECTION III (Fire Zone Two} Fire Zone Two is hereby declared to be that portion of the unincorporated area of the County as shown colored in pink on the fire zone maps which is attached hereto as Exhibit ~A" and incorporated herein as if set forth in fu71. SECTION IV (Fire Zone Three} The remainder of the unincorporated area of the County shall continue to remain as Fire Zone Three. SECTION V (Exemptions.
