HomeMy WebLinkAbout97-016k ,~ ~~~salufion No. 9~-16 PROCLAMATION OF TERMINATION OF LOCAL EMERGENCY WHEREAS, a local emergency presently exists in the County of Butte in accordance with the proclamation of existence of a local emergency, Resolution No. 96-145, adopted by the Board of Supervisors on the 31st day of December 1996, continued by Resolution No. 97-OS on January 14, 1997, and by Resolution 97-09 on January 28, 1997, due to a succession of wind and rainstorms resulting in the widespread flooding of low lying residential and agricultural areas in Butte County, causing and threatening significant property damage, a condition of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property in Butte County, commencing on or about 6:00 p.m. on the 30th day of December 1996; and WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions of extreme peril is now deemed to be within the control of the normal protective services, personnel, equipment and facilities of and within said County of Butte. NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, does hereby proclaim the termination of said local emergency. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 11th day of February 1997 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Davis NOES: None ABSENT: None NOT VOTING: None ~' .~ ~~ 13-- FRED C.
