HomeMy WebLinkAbout97-019~,.*Q~ S UP~+ ••. • +Qi~ i ©~ a©~ ~ s i '~~ . r~: :v~: ^ ^ ~*'- C7~• • ~ : : r ~~ N ~ ,~t+rr+arunr-~s V~• ~~~.v+~ . ~ 0 - U l; ~+ ~ ~ ~ ...^ WHEREAS, BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA ~~~solufic~n i~r~~. ~7-19 RESOLUTION DISBANDING THE UPPER RIDGE MUNICIPAL ADVISORY COUNCIL (URMAC} Government Code Section 31010 provides that the Board of Supervisors may by resolution establish a municipal advisory council far any unincorporated area in the County to advise the Board on matters which relate to that area and, WHEREAS, pursuant to this authority, the Board of Supervisors established the "Upper Ridge Municipal Advisory Council" (URMAC} pursuant to Resolution No. 93-65 to advise the Board on matters concerning the unincorporated area known as the "Upper Ridge", for purposes of advising the Board on matters of public health, public safety, public welfare, public works, and planning, WHEREAS, the Council has now served the purpose to which it was formed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. The municipal advisory council designated the "Upper Ridge Municipal Advisory Council" (hereinafter referred to as "Council") is hereby disbanded. 2. The Council shall be relieved of its duties and obligations, as set forth in the Resolution forming the Council. 1 3. Letters shall be issued to members who have served on the Council in appreciation of their services as members of the Upper Ridge Municipal Advisory Council.
