•^^^ RESOLU"PION COMMENDING ROLANDO VILLARAMA
WHEREAS, the California Department of Social Services (COBS), Office of Child Support,
is ultimately responsible for overseeing the California Child Support Enforcement Program; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County District Attorney's Family Support Division sought assistance
from CDSS to improve Butte County's Child Support F_.nforcement Program in early 1992; and
WHEREAS, vision, leadership, commitment and cooperation were demonstrated by the
CDSS Office of Child Support, most notably from Rolando Villarama, Assistant Chief, Program
Improvement Bureau, Office of Child Support; and
WHEREAS, the cooperation between the state and local child support agencies has enabled
Family Support Division to again achieve compliance with state regulations. In addition to meeting
compliance, the County's collections increased from $6.0-million to $8.8-million.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that
they commend Rolando Villarama for his commitment to and support of the Butte County District
Attorney's Family Support Division program innovations. His support has and will continue to help
Butte County positively enhance the lives of our children and families.
PASSED AND ADOP"TED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, on the 11th day of March, 199'7, by the following vote:
