RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
APPROVING THE BUTTE COUNTY SHERIFF'S HELICOPTERS
BE UTILIZED TO PROVIDE PUBLIC PROTECTION TO THE
CITIZENS OF BUTTF. COUNTY
WHEREAS, the use of Butte County helicopters shall be limited to public protection
missions such as search and rescue, drug interdiction, assisting iaw enforcement detect
and apprehend violators and any public need or as approved by the Sheriff and Board of
Supervisors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors approves the Butte County Sheriff's helicopters be utilized to provide public
protection to the citizens of Butte County and any public need or as approved by the Sheriff
and Board.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 22nd
April, 1997, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan,
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
