RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT
FOR COUNTY OF Bt1"I'"I~E FOR FISCAL YEAR 1997-1998
AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 7910, DIVISION 9
OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE
WHEREAS, Article VIII-B of the California Constitution provides that local
governments must establish annual appropriation limits pursuant to said Article, and;
WHEREAS, Section 7910, Division 9, of the Goti•ernment Code, provides that the
governing body of each local jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations
limit for the following year at a regularly scheduled meeting, and;
tVHEREA~y, the Auditor-Controller has calculated the Butte County
appropriations limit for fiscal year 1997-1998 to be $b9,488,958.
NOW, TFIEREFORE, BE 1'i' RESOLVED that the appropriations limit for Butte
County is established to be $9,488,958 for fiscal year 1997-1998, and;
FURTHF_.R, that said appropriations limit, and the determination thereof are in
compliance with Article XIII-B of the California Constitution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State
of California, this 24"' day of June, 1997.
