RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 9?-70 TO RE-SET PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING
NEW/INCREMENTAL SERVICE CHARGES IN COUNTY SERVICE AREA 135, ZONES 2 AND 4
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 97-70 on May 2?, 1997, setting a
public hearing to be held on July 22, 1997, regarding new/incremental service charges in County Service
Area 135, zones 2 and 4 ;
WHEREAS, the meeting of the Board scheduled for July 22, 1997, has been canceled; and
VVF~REAS, the Board wishes to amend Resolution 97-70 to re-set said hearing to August 12,
1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
I . The third paragraph on page 2 of Resolution 97-70 is amended to re-set the public hearing
regarding new/incremental service charges in County Service Area 135, zones 2 and 4, to August 12,
1997, at 10 a.m.
2. The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is directed to publish notice of said hearing as required
by Butte County Code Section 21-88 and, with the assistance of the Elections Department, Public Works
Department, Auditor-Controller and the Assessor, to provide written notice thereof by mail to the record
owner of each identified parcel upon which the new/incremental charge is proposed for levying. Said
written notice shall include the amount of the proposed newlincremental charge, the basis upon which the
amount of the proposed newlincremental charge was calculated, the reason far the new/incremental
charge, and the date, time and location of the public hearing, and shall state that the record owner may
submit a written protest against the new/incremental charge to the Clerk prior to or during the hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 2411-,day of June , 1997 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors F3eeler, Dolan, Roux, Josassen and Chair Davis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
