Resolution of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte
Acceptance of Contract and Grant for Title IV-D Child Support
Enforcement Commissioners and Family Law Facilitators
WHEREAS the County of Butte is required by law to operate Title IV-D child
support enforcement commissioner and family law facilitator programs; and
WHEREAS the County of Buttc has been notified that they have been granted
$300,000 for the commissioner program and $81,200 for the facilitator program for the
1997-1998 fiscal year;
WHEREAS the County of Butte tivishes to receive this money and utilize it to
implement the Title IV-D child support enforcement commissioner and family law
facilitator programs in order to improve the handling of Title IV-D child support
enforcement actions and the understanding of the participants in that program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors approves the Plans of Cooperation relating to the family law commissioner
and family law facilitator programs and authorizes the Court Executive Officer and Chief
Administrative Officer to sign related contracts; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
accepts any finding that may be provided by the Judicial Council for these programs.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Buttc,
State of California, on this 12°i day of August 1997 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Bee1_er, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Davis
