RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING 1997 THE THIRTY-FOURTI-I
ANNIVERSARY OF THE UNITED WAY IN BUTTE AND GLENN COUNTIES
WHEREAS. United t~'ay of Butte-Glenn Counties belongs to the citizens of Butte and
Glenn Count} ;and
WHEREAS, the money donated for programs and services stays in Butte and Glenn Coutlty;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte that they do hereby proclaim 1997 the "Thirty-Fourth Anniversary Campaign of the United
Way in serving those in need through their 20 member agencies.
NOV1~', 'THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors to
urge all citizens to join in support of the United Way and help through contributions to participating
organisations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors on this 12th day of August 1997,
by the following vote:
