RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING SEPTEMBER 14-20, 199?
TO BE NATIONAL REHABILITATION WI+,F.K
WHEREAS, the Work Training Center is observing and celebrating National Rehabilitation
Week during the third week of September; and
WHEREAS,Butte County recognizes and values the educational, soda} and humanitarian
contribution of'its many citizens ~~ith disabilities; and
WHEREAS, those citizens have found hope, spirit and dignity through the services of
rehabilitative programs; and
WHEREAS, rehabilitative services throughout our nation help people with disabilities to
achieve independent, productive and fulfilling lives; and
WHEREAS, Butte County is proud and honored to have Work 'Training Center's quality and
progressive rehabilitative facilities in this community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT SO RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
proclaim September 14-2[a, 1997, to be National Rehabilitation Week, and encourage all citizens to
renew their commitment to people with disabilities and to the efforts of rehabilitative services in
improving the quality of life for them.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the; Board of Supervisors on this ?6th day of August 1997
