A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDING
AND THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT
FROM THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLANNINGITECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
ALLOCATION OF THE STATE CDBG PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves an
application for up to $35,000.00 to prepare an industrial analysis, business needs assessment, and
business retention and business expansion plan for businesses in Butte County; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has held a public hearing describing the CDBG
program and types of programs available for funding by that program; and
WHEREAS, on behalf of the County of Butte, the Economic Development Corporation
will provide the County's Cash Match in the amount of $1,050.00; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, if the application is approved, the Butte
County Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to enter into and sign the grant agreement and any
subsequent amendments with the State of California for the purposes of this grant.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, on the 16th day of September , 1997, by the fallowing votes:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Davis
