RESOLUTION CHANG[NG THC NAME OF THE
BL7TTE COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH BOARD
WHEREAS, the Butte County Mental Health Department will be changing the name of the
department to the Butte Count} Department of Behavioral Health; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Mental health Department has integrated its programs to
better serve the individuals with disorders that are commonly defined as '`behavioral disorders'"; and
WHEREAS, changing the name of the Department and the Mental Health Board will more
accurately reilcct the nature of our services; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Mental Health Board endorse the recommended name
change and request that the Board of Supervisors adopt said name change.
NOW,'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Mental Health Board will
from this time forward be known as the Butte County Behavioral Health Board.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this ?5th day of
November 1997, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Davis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
