WHEREAS. the Board of Supen~isors on September 27, 1994 adopted Resolution 94-1 l ~ approving an application for
Reverted Jail Bond Act Cunds: and
WHEREAS. said application ~~~as submitted to the State Board of Corrections who established priorities for Cunding on
Januaiti~ 2G, 199: and
WHEREAS. one of Butte Count} s projects, the Main Jail Remodel Pro_jcct. was prioritised by the Board of Corrections
as Priority No. ~ of `T'ier 2b in the amount of ~ 1,61220: and
WHEREAS_ notification has been received from the Board of Corrections at their meeting of November 21, ]t)97
authorised the reallocation of $702_G63 to Butte County for the Maul Jail Remodel Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors as follows:
L There is a continued need for the approved Main Jail Remodel Project.
2. Butte Cow1t~~ intends to meet all pre-contractual requirements. be wider construction of the Project, and have a contract
~ti~ith the Board of Corrections no later than August ? 1. 1998.
3. The minimum 2~`i« matching funds will be available_ and
4. The facilities will be fulh~ staffed and operated as required bti~ statute.
