WHEREAS, the County of Butte adopted Resolution 97-49 an April 22, 1997 establishing a policy for
management of storm damage projects under $>0,000 value each; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution 97-49 was amended on August 12, 1997 by Resolution 97-97 and on August
26, ] 997 by Resolution 97-259 extending the policy to include other specific projects within the authorization.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors, that Resolution 97-49 is amended
by adding paragraph 4 to the previous policy as follows: the tieneral Services Director is authorized to perform the
following work an behalf of Butte County in order to expedite the emergency work repair:
4. Award bids and sign construction and other contracts for the following individual project:
g. Big Chico Creek Streambank Stabilization Project (DSR No. 4230-97-13) - $75,000.
h. Butte Creek at Durham Mutual Water Company Dam {DSR No. 4230-97-4) - $100,000.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors, State of California this 23th day
of December, 1997 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Chair Davis
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Josiassen
ABSTAINING: None
