The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, do ordain as follows:
1. That Ordinance No. 942 of the County of Butte is
hereby amended as follows:
(a) That Section No. 4, entitled "Elective Officers
shall receive annual salaries as indicated in the following table:'
be amended by deleting therefrom
Office Annual Salary
Superintendent`of Schools
(County's share) Flat 5,610
and adding thereto,
Office Annual Salary
Superintendent of Schools
(County's share) Flat 5,724
{b) That Section No. 3, entitled "SALARY PLAN FOR
CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES" be amended by deleting therefrom

and adding thereto,

2. That this ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be published with
the names of the members voting for and against the same, once,
in a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 7th day of May, 1968,
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Maxon
NOES : Supervismr Howsden
ABSENT: None ',
