Henning Parcel Map identified above; and WHEREAS, said Parcel Map included an offer of dedication of Canyon Rim Place, sixty-foot wide non-exclusive easement far road and public utility purposes ("easement"~, and that certain portion being abandoned is described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and WHEREAS, the affected property owners wish to abandon a portion of said easement to a mutually agreed upon length and to make an offer of_ dedication of said easement at its new length to the County of Butte; and WHEREAS, upon said abandonment, the offer of dedication of said easement at its original length will not be necessary for the public or County use; and WHEREAS, the offer of dedication of the easement at its new location, as described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto, may be necessary for the public or County use at a future time; and WHEREAS, the said offer of dedication to be revised is of equal value; and WHEREAS, said abandonment of a portion of the offer of dedication of the easement in its original location will not cut of any access to any person's property which, prior to abandonment, adjoined said easement and will not terminate a necessary public service easement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte as follows: 1. The offer of dedication of the said easement in its original location, as described in Exhibit"A" attached hereto, is terminated and abandoned pursuant to Government Cade 66477.2 (c) and Streets and Highways Code Section 8330 and is exchanged for the offer of dedication described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto, pursuant to Government Cade Section 25365. 2.
