RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION
OF
JAMES COLLINS
WHEREAS, this Board expresses its appreciation to JAMES COLLINS for his 22 years
as a reserve deputy sheriff with the Butte County Sheriff"s Office.
WHEREAS, JAMES COLLINS joined the Butte County Sheriff s Office in 1976 as a
Reserve Deputy Sheriff, During his years as a Reserve Sergeant, he was assigned to
investigations, patrol and background investigations.
WHEREAS, after serving the citizens of Butte County for 22 years, JAMES COLLINS
retired February 1, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, BF, IT RESOLVEn by the Board of Supervisors on its awn
behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte:
That said Board expresses their deep appreciation for the unselfish dedication and
devotion given by RESERVE SERGEANT JAMES COLLINS during his years with the Butte;
County Sheriff's Office.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 24th day of
February, 1998 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Davis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
