HomeMy WebLinkAbout98-0531 ~'_ ~ ~~' ~~ ~~~« ~~ s ~~• • i ~~ • i~: :~~ ^ *.~: ~~.~ ,~r1 ~~4nn~~~~ V• ~~^ .,.BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA Resolution No. 98-53 PROCLAMATION OF TERMINATION OF LOCAL EMERGENCY WHEREAS, a local emergency presently exists in the County of Butte in accordance with the proclamation thereof by the Director of Emergency Services on the 2nd day of February, 1998, and its ratification by the Board of Supervisors on the 4th day of February, 1998, as a result of conditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property caused by a succession of wind and rainstorms which resulted in the widespread flooding of low lying residential and agricultural areas causing and threatening significant property damage commencing on or about 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd day of February, 1998; and WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions of extreme peril is now deemed to be within the control of the normal protective services, personnel, equipment and facilities within the County of Butte. NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, does hereby proclaim the termination of said local emergency.
