A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION AND CONTRACT EXECUTION FOR
FUNDING FROM "THE PLANNING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ALLOCATION OF
THE STATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM TO
FUND A HOUSING CONDITION SURVEY IN UNINCORPORATED BUTTE COUNTY
AND AI_,SO, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ANY
AMENDMENTS THERETO WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS GRANT
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Butte County as follows:
SECTION I.
"I'he Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves an application for $23,000 to be used
in the following manner:
Housing Condition Survey: $19,500.00
General Administration: ~ 1,000.00
1999 Grant Preparation: $ 2,_500.00
SECTION 2.
If the grant application is approved, the County will provide local leverage as follows:
Staff Time:
SECTION 3.
$ 700.00
The Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized and directed to act on the County's behalf in
all matters pertaining to this application.

If the application is approved, the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to enter into and sign
the gra t a~ reement and any amendments thereto with the State of California for the purpose of this
grant.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, on the 14th day of April 1998, by the fallowing vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Davis
