HomeMy WebLinkAbout98-083WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte has determined that far the
efficient operation of the Department of Public Health, the necessity has arisen for the
establishment of a Revaluing Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California, Sections 29320, et. seq.
provides far the establishment of such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California as follows:
1. That there is determined to be a necessity for the establishment of a revolving fund in
the Department of Public Health for the purpose of making change when carrying on the business
of the department.
2. That the amount of the revolving fund shall be the sum of three hundred fifty dollars
($350), and which will consist of one hundred fifty ($150) dollars previously authorized by minute
order and a two hundred ($200) dollar increase which is herein authorized.
3. That this fund is established in accordance with sections 29320, et. seq. of the
Government Code of the State of California, and that certified copies of the resolution shall be
transmitted to the County Auditor and the County Treasurer.

4. That the County Administrator is instructed pursuant to Section 29323 of the
Government Cade of the State of California, to amend by endorsement the blanket fidelity bond
of the County to be conditioned, in addition to its others provisions, upon the faithful
administration of the revolving fund and upon the willingness and ability of the principal for whom
such a fund has been established to account for and pay over the fund upon demand of the Board
of Supervisors at this time.
5. The Auditor of the County of Butte is hereby authorized and directed to issue a
warrant in the sum of two hundred ($200) dollars in favor of the Department of Public Health of
the County of Butte from the County General Fund.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of May, 1998 by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors by the following vote:
