RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF JUANITA MOXLF,Y
WHEREAS, Juanita Moxley began her career with the County of Butte in October 1982 as
Secretary to the Director of Mental Health, and later Secretary to the Director of Public lfealth when
the departments reorganized; and
WHEREAS, Juanita Moxley became the Secretary to the Butte County District Attorney in
February 1987 and held this position through two administrations, earning the respect and admiration
of the District Attorneys and the respect and admiration of fellow employees, other county departments
and outside agencies; and
WHEREAS, her unflappable style and warm demeanor was an island of calm in the District
t~ttorney sea of chaos; and
WHEREAS, Juanita Moxley has diligently served the citizens of the County of Butte far more
than l5 years with extraordinary dedication.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board, on its own behalf; and on behalf
of the citizens of the County of Butte, wish to express to Juanita Moxley sincere appreciation for her
many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the citizens of the County of
Butte, and further wish her well on her retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte. State of
California, this 23rd day of June 1998, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Davis
NOES: None
