RESOLUTION AWARDING CON'T'RACT
DItESCHI;R 'TKAC'T ASSI?SSMI;N'1' DIS'TRIC'1'
`The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte resolves:
z1~c Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte has received public bids for the
construction of improvements in Drescher `T'ract Assessment District, Butte County,
California.
`The Engineer of Work has reviewed the bids and now recommends award of the
construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder, I-I1J`TCH[NS PAVING c4c
ENGINF,ERING, TNC., whose bid price is $244,702.00.
'T'he Board of Supervisors therefore awards the contract to that bidder. All other
bids are rejected. `T'his award of contract is subject to the approval of the United States
Department of Agriculture, Rural Development.
The Board cif Supervisors directs the Clerk of the Board to publish a notice of
award of contract.
'T'he Board of Supervisors authorizes and directs the Director of Public Works and
the Clerk of the Board to sign the written contract for this construction when it is
presented to them for signature, along with the surety bonds and insurance certificates
required by the construction specifications.
Said written contract will provide that the contractor agrees to comply with the
provisions of Section 1770 of the labor Code of the State of California, and particularly
with Sections 1770 and 1777.5 thereof.

of California, on the 1 Lth day of August, 1998, by the following vote:
