RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING 1998 AS THE THIR"TY-FIFTH
ANNIVERSARY OF THE UNITED WAY IN BUTTE AND GLENN COUNTIES
WHEREAS, the United Way of Butte-Glenn Cotmties belongs to the citizens of Butte
and Glenn County; and
WHEREAS, the money donated for programs and services stays in Butte and Glenn
County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte hereby proclaims 1998 as the Thirty-pifih Anniversary Campaign of the United Way in
serving those in need through their 20 member agencies; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors urges all citizens to join
in support of the United Way and help through contributions to participating organizations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 25th day of
August 1998 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Jasiassen and Chair Davis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
