RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE
FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE TEAM MENTOR PILOT PROJECT

WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health, Community Services
Division has submitted an application which was approved to participate in the Friday
Night Live Team Mentor Pilot Project; and
WHEREAS, the Tulare County Superintendent of Schools has been authorized
to provide statewide leadership for the implementation of the Friday Night Live Team
Mentor Project. Tulare County Superintendent of Schools shall also provide oversight to
a mentor training development team, test the new Friday Night Live team mentor mode
and award funding to awardees of a Request Far Application (RFA} process; and
WHEREAS, the term of the grant is July 1, 1998 through June 30, 2000. The
amount of funds to be received each fiscal year is $27,500.00, for a total of $55,000.00
to be awarded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Butte County Department of
Behavioral Health, Community Services Division has authorization to participate in the
Friday Night Live Team Mentor Pilot Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 22 ~d
day of September 1998, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Davis
