HomeMy WebLinkAbout98-150•~~ O~ ~S U r#~1~'~i~ `.~~ asaaaaaaaa~: ~? ~~. • ire n O~a• •, O •c~; v~. • ~ =~~ BOARD OF BUPERVISORB ~*: :7~. *~/~~~~ : ~4~ COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA ~~: ~'OU1~~0~ ~~'solufio~t 'Vo. 98-150 •~,~"•"~~~~ RESOLUTION IN RF,COGNITION OF SUSAN MARIE KAISER UPON RETIREMENT FROM THE BUTTE COUNTY DF,PARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH WHEREAS, Susan Marie Kaiser, Supervisor-Public Health Nutritionist, announced her retirement as of September 30, 199$; and WHEREAS, Susan Marie Kaiser graduated trom the University of Wisconsin where she received her Bachelor's Degree in 1953. She received her teaching certificate from Northwestern University in 1957 and her Master's Degree in Education from Chico State College in 1969; and WHEREAS, Susan Marie Kaiser has served as a volunteer for numerous organizations including Girl Scouts, Enloe Hospital Auxiliary, and her church; and WHEREAS, Susan Marie Kaiser diligently served the people of Butte County as Family Health Services Coordinator for 17 years, and as coordinator of the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) progra-~ for l 1 years. She has also provided leadership to the State WIC program; and WHEREAS, under Susan Marie Kaiser's leadership, the WIC program was recognized by Soroptimist International of Chico in 1994 as one offive ``Organizations/Business Advancing the Status of Women," and has consistently received high marks from State evaluators; WHEREAS, Susan Marie Kaiser has consistently been an example of enthusiasm and leadership, and has promoted nutrition education throughout the County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board, on its own behalf and for the residents of Butte County, would like to express its appreciation for the dedication and devotion given by Susan Marie Kaiser during her 28 years of service to the people of the County of Butte, and wish her well on her retirement.
