RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTIONS RELAT[NG "€'O
ESTABLISHING POLICY
NATURAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION SERVICES {MRCS)
STORIYI DAMAGE PROJECT MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, the County of Butte adopted Resolution 98-141 on September 1, 1998 establishing a policy for
management of storm damage projects under S3Q000 value each; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution 98-141 states that all other projects with a value greater than $30,000 will be
subt~~itted to the Board of Supervisors for approval.
NOV1', THEREFORE:, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board c>f Supervisors, that Resolution 98-141 is amended
by adding paragraph 4 to the previous policy as follows: the General Services Director is authorized to perform the
following work on behalf of Butte County in order to expedite the emergency work repair:
4. Award bids and sign construction and other contracts for the following individual project:
a. Roc?1 Creek Levu. Bar1k Protection (DSR >Uo. 4230-98-03) - 540,OOQ
b. ~Vvman Ravine Levee Bank Protection (DSR No. 4230-98-04) - 535;000
c. Pine Creek at Cana Pine Creek Road Levee Repair {DSR 1l0. 4230-98-06) - $"75,000.
d. Pir,e Creek at Cana Road Levee Repair (DSR No. 4230-98-07} - 545,000.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors, State of California this 13th day of
October, l 998 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Davis
NOES: None
