Division has submitted an application which was approved to participate in the Friday
Night Live Kids Expansion Project; and
WHEREAS, the Tulare County Superintendent of Schools has been authorized
to provide statewide leadership for the expansion of the Friday Night Live Kids Program.
Tulare County Superintendent of Schools shall also provide oversight; awarding funding
to six counties; and providing administrative support to awardees of a request for
application {RFA) process; and
WHEREAS, the term of the grant is July 1, 1998 through June 30, 2000. The
amount of funds to be received FY 98/99 is $24,000.00, and FY 99100 is $16,000.00 for
a total of $40,000.00 to be awarded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Butte County Department of
Behavioral Health, Community Services Division has authorization to participate in the
Friday Night Live Kids Expansion Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 15tH
day of December 1998, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Davis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
