DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, THE CITY OF CHICO AND COUN'T'Y OF
I3U'I'TFI, FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A TRAFFIC CONTROL, SIGNAL AND
SAFETY LIGHTING PROJECT ON STATE ROUTE 99 AT SOU'T`HGATh./ENTLEIt
AVENUE INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, the County has requester] a cooperative agreement for improvements to
Stair high~~ays within Butte County Ind the City of Chico, pursuant to Streets and I lighways
Code Secticros 1 ] 4 and 1 ~0;
WHEREAS, the California Department ol~ Transportation, requires the County's
acceptance of the terms of the proposed Cooperative Agreement, District A~,reemcnt Flo. Oi-
(ll 1 ~, between the State of California, Department of Transportation, the City of Chico and the
County of Butte, for the installation of a tral~lic control signal and safety lighting project on State
Route 99 at the Southgat~!Lntler Avenue intersection.
NOS' THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board o]~ Supervisors of` the County
ol~ Butte, State of California, that said County oC Butte approves Cooperative Agreement, District
Agreement No. O i-O l l 3, between the State of California, Department of ~hransportation, the City
of Chico and the County of Butte. for the installation of a traffic control si~~nal and sal-etv
lighting project on State Route 99 at the Southgatc,`Entler Avenue intersection.
