The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, do ordain as follows:
1. That Ordinance No. 942 of the County of Butte is
hereby amended as follows:
~a) That Section No. 18, entitled "DISTRICT ATTORNEY
AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATOR" be amended by deleting therefrom
Salary Range No. of Positions Classification Title
40 1 Assistant District Attorney
and adding thereto,
Salary Range No. of Positions Classification Title
40 Assistant District Attorney
1 or
3'7 Deputy District Attorney II
2. That this ordinance sha11 take effect thirty C30) days
after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be published with
the names of the members voting for and against the same, once,
in a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of
California.
