RESOLUTION HONORING BUTTE COUNTY EMPLOYEES
FOK DEDICATED YEARS OF SERVICE
WHEREAS, the County of Butte recognizes the value of maintaining a corps of career
employees who are dedicated to serving the needs of the County's diverse population; and
WHEREAS, dedicated career employees are an investment in maintaining a level of
la~owledge and organizational history which is valuable to the. current and future Boards of
Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte has not, in the recent past, taken sufficient time and
effort to recognize the dedicated service of its career employees; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors and Management Council are committed to
providing greater recognition to employees who have dedicated themselves to making Butte
County a better community to live in.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board, on its own behalf and on
behalf of the residents of Butte County, expresses its sincere appreciation to the career employees
of Butte County for their many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to
the residents of Butte County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 26th day of January 1999 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Davis, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Dolan
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
