HomeMy WebLinkAbout99-015~,.•~~ rS U it''•i P •. • ~~* •~i~V-* ~ s ~. ~x''~ ^ ~~ ~ r~ •+~It e~U l` ' `~~~• BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA Resalufian No. 99--15 RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF FISH & GAME'S PROPOSED EITHER-SEX DEER HUNT IN AREA G-26 (EAST TEHAMA~ WHEREAS, this Board was duly notified of a proposal by the State Department of Fish and Game to allow an either-sex deer hunt in area G-26 (East Tehama); and WHEREAS, this Board duly noticed and held a hearing at its regular meeting on January 26, 1999; and WHEREAS, the Butte County Fish and Game Commission does not recognize the benefit of approving an either-sex deer hunt in area G-2b; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors considered a unanimous recommendation of the Butte County Fish and Game Commission to object to the State Department's proposed either- sex deer hunt in area G-2b. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board pursuant to Section 459 of the Fish and Game Code, hereby respectfully opposes the State Department of Fish and Game's proposed either-sex deer hunt in area G-26 (East Tehama).
