A RESOLU'T[ON APPROVING THE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT, DIS'TRICT'
AGREEMENT NO. 03-0113, BETWEEN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, THE CITY OF CHICO AND COUNTY OF
BUTTE, FOR "THE INSTALLATION OF A TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL AND
SAFETY LIGHTING PROJECT ON STATF, ROUTE 99 AT SOIJTFIGA"TE/ENTLER
AVENiJF, INTF.RSI;C"['ION
WHERI?AS, the County has requested a cooperative agreement for improvements to
State highways within Butte County and the City of Chico, pursuant to Streets and highways
Code Sections 1 14 and 1 30;
WHEREAS, the California Department of Transportation requires the County's
acceptance of the terms of the proposed Cooperative Agreement, District Agreement loo. ()?-
Ol 13, between the State of California, Department of "transportation, the City of Chico and the
County of Butte, for the installation of a tral~lic control si~~nal and safety lighting project on State
Route 99 at the Southgate/Intler Avenue intersection.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of S~~pervisors ol• the County
of C~utte, State of California, that said County of Butte approves Cooperative ~lgreemcnt, District
Agreement No. 03-01 13, between the State of California, Department oi•~I•ranshortation, the City
o~F Chico and the County of Butte, for the installation of a traffic control signal and safety
lighting project on State Route 99 at the SouthgatclEntler Avenue intersection.
