LEGACI GRANT CENTER I'OR F[NDING TO IMPI.EMEN"I, THE AGRICULTURAL
ELEMENT' OF THE GENERAL PLAN AND TO PROVIDE OTHER t1PDATES TO THE
GENERAL PLAN AS REQUIRED

The Guard of~ Superviaors has reviewed and hereby approves an application to the Great Valley Center
1_C:GACI Grant Program I~or $70,000.00.

If the grant application is approved, the C'o~inty and the Hutto County Farm Bureau will provide local
leverage as follows:
County: $40,000.00 (General Plan Encumbrance)
Hutto County Farm Bureau: $10,000.00

Funding from this grant will be used in the follo4ving manner:
"1'asl: 1 Prepare a Transfer Development Credit Program $ 20,000
Task 2 DevelopL.oni~lg Ordinance Revisions to Implement the
Agricultural f~lement $ 25,000
"['asl: 3 Revise other Elements ofthc General Plan $ 42,000
"hack 4 Create Research and Development General Plan
and 7.oning Classifications $ 10,000
"bask 4 Project Administration -Auditor $ 3.000
* It should be noted that these costs are primarily associated with funding of activities beyond the
scope of the available resources within the department. However, the Department of Development
Services staff will be actively involved in all phases of this program, including oversight and actual
policy development.
fhe Chief .Administrative Officer is hereby authorised and directed to act on the County's behalf in all
matters pertaining to this application.
