RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
AS TRUSTEES OF THE THOMPSON FLAT CEMETERY DISTRICT AND
SETTING DATE AND TIME OF PUBLIC HEARING
WHEREAS, the Thompson Flat Cemetery District is without trustees to
conduct the business of the district; and
WHEREAS, Health and Safety Code Section 8950.3 permits the Board of
Supervisors to designate themselves, by resolution with a four-fifths
vote, to act as the board of trustees; and
WHEREAS, Health and Safety Code Section 8950.3 requires that a
public hearing be held not less than 10 days after the adoption of that
resolution designating the Board of Supervisors as trustees:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors hereby designates themselves to act as the Board of Trustees
of the Thompson Flat Cemetery District and designates the date of August
10, 1999 at 10:15 a.m. as the time for the public hearing on the issue.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this
13th day of July, 1999, by the fallowing vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Houx, Josassen, Davis and Chair Dolan
