- ~--~D ~F' ~1.Jl~RVI4R~ GOUN'TY OF BUTTE, STATE C3F CAL..IF©RNIA Resolufion Na. ~9-~5 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A REVOLVING FUND FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 29320, ET. SEQ.) WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works is operating as a State Certified Used Oil Recycling Center, thereby accepting used motor ail from the general public for proper disposal; and WHEREAS, State Certified Used Oil Recycling Centers are required to offer the public a rebate of sixteen cents per gallon of used motor oil received; and WHEREAS, the California Integrated Waste Management Board will reimburse the Department of Public Works for all payments of the used oil recycling rebate; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte has determined that for the efficient operation of the Department of Public Works, the necessity has arisen for the establishment of a Revolving Fund; and WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California, Section 29320, et. seq. provides for the establishment of such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California as follows: 1. That there is determined to be a necessity for the establishment of a revolving fund in the Department of Public Works for the purpose of making small payments for used motor ail recycling when carrying on the business of the Department. 2. That the amount of the revolving fund shall be the sum of fifty dollars ($50). 3. That this fund is established in accordance with sections 29320, et. Seq. of the Government Code of the State of California, and that certified copies of this resolution shall be transmitted to the County Auditor and the County Treasurer. 4. That the County Administrator is instructed pursuant to Section 29320 of the Government Code of the State of California, to amend by endorsement the blanket fidelity band of the County to be conditioned, in addition to its other provisions, upon the faithful administration of the revolving fund and upon the willingness and ability of the principal far whom such fund has been established to account for and pay over the fund upon demand of the Board of Supervisors at any time. 5. The Auditor of the County of Butte is hereby authorized and directed to issue a warrant in the sum of fifty ($50.00} dollars in favor of the Department of Public Works of the County of Butte from the Road Fund {Fund 30).
