RESOLUTION CERTIFYING SACRAMENTO RIVER RECLAMATION DISTRICT
ASSESSMENT BALLOT VOTE AND DECLARING ASSESSMENT APPROVED
WHEREAS, Resolution 99-88 adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte on June 22, 1999, provided for the implementation of
Proposition 218 proceedings regarding an assessment of $4.00 per acre upon
the lands within the Sacramento River Reclamation District {"District"} and
directed that an assessment ballot proceeding be conducted pursuant to the
requirements of Proposition 218 (Article XIIID of the California
Constitution) and the Proposition 218 Omnibus Implementation Act (Government
Code Section 53750 et seq.}; and
WHEREAS, said proceedings were conducted as required, concluding with a
public hearing held by this Board on August 10, 1999, to allow the board to
consider all objections or protests, if any, to the proposed assessment;and
WHEREAS, ballots were submitted to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors
by property owners within the District prior to said public hearing, and no
ballots were submitted, changed or withdrawn during the hearing; and
WHEREAS, at the conclusion of the hearing on August 10, 1999, this Board
directed the Clerk of the Board to certify the final vote results for
submittal to the Board at its meeting on August 24, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the Board has tabulated the assessment ballots and
has certified and submitted the final vote results to this Board, and the
ballots submitted in favor of the assessment exceed the ballots submitted in
opposition to the assessment.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, does
hereby resolve, direct and order as follows:
1. The certification of the final vote results regarding the
assessment of $4.00 per acre upon the lands within the Sacramento
River Reclamation District ("District"), as prepared and submitted
to the Board of Supervisors by the Clerk of the Board, is received
and a copy thereof is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
2. The Board of Supervisors hereby certifies said vote results as
submitted by the Clerk of the Board and determines that the ballots
submitted in favor of the assessment exceed the ballots submitted in
opposition to the assessment.
3. The Board of Trustees of the Sacramento River Reclamation District
are authorized to levee a benefit assessment or standby charge up to
$4.00 per acre per year upon each acre of land within the District.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, on the 24th day of August 1999 by the following votes:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Roux, ,Tosiassen, Davis and Chair Dolan

I, Marion A. Reeves, Assistant Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, hereby certify this statement of
votes cast accurately reflects the total number ot~votes cast far or against the proposed assessment
of up to $4.00 for each parcel located within the Sacramento River Reclamation District. The public
hearing for consideration of this ballot proceeding was held on t~ugust 10, 1999, at 10:00 a.m.
Total number of eligible votes: 78
Total nu-T~ber of votes yes: 23 representing 12,432.45 acres within the district.
Total number oFvotes no: 13 representing 2,06.16 acres within the district.
