WHEREAS, the County of Butte operates Veteran Memorial Halls in the communities of Biggs,
Chico. Csridley. Oroville and Paradise in accordance with the provisions of the California Military &
Veterans Codc_ and
WHEREAS. the memorial halls may be made available for rent b~ citizens, groups, and
organizations when not used by recognized veteran organizations for purposes set forth in the California
Military & Veterans Code: and
WHEREAS. it is necessary' from time to time that the Board of Supervisors adjust the rental rates
to pace with increased operating costs.
NOW, THERE BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that the rental
rates and security deposits for the various memorial halls indicated in the attached Exhibit A are hereby
adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall supersede any other Resolution or
rninutc order previoust~~ adopted which sets rental rates or securih- deposits.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 28th day of September
1999 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Houx, Josiassen, Davis and Chair Dolan.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
