Section 25210.14. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RF,SOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows: 1. The subject area includes approximately 4.5 acres of private propet~ty and is identified as APN 042-450-003. 4. 'The boundaries of the annexation to said County Service Area No. 25 are hereby determined and established to be the same as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein and made a part hereof by this reference. 5. The subject annexation is assigned the following short form designation: 99-16 -Annexation to County Scrvicc Area Nn. 25 (Shasta Union Drainagc)~ 6. The single parcel identified in this annexation will be detached li-om County Service Area No. 1 l4 (Chico Urban Area Nitrate) as the stormwater drainage and sewer planning tunction of this County Service Area will be assumed by the City of Chico. 8. In accordance with the provisions ofGovernment Code Section 25210.77(x} and Butte County ('ode Sections 21.85 through 21.90, aper-parcel service charge shall be levied against all the parcels within County Scrvicc Area No. 25. hash parcel shall be assessed are individual service charge based upon benefit. Said charge shall appear as a separate item on the tax bill and shall be collected at the same tithe and i-1 the same manner as ordinary County ad valorem taxes are collected and shall be subject to the same penalties and the same p--ocedure and sale in the case of delinquency as provided for such taxes, All laws applicable to the levy, collection and enforcement of C'o~mty ad valore-n taxes are collected and shall be subject to the same penalties and the same procedure and sale in the case of delinquency as provided for such taxes. All laws applic~ible to the levy, collectian and enforcement of County ad valorem taxes shall be applicable to such charge, except that if real property to ~~~hich such charge relates has been transferred or conveyed to a bona lids purchaser for value, or if a lien of a bona fide encumbrance for ~~~alue has bc;cn created and attached thereon, prior to the date on which the first installment. of said taxes i~~ould become delinquent, then the charge confirmed shall not result in a lie-1 against said real property but instead shall be U~ansferred to the a-lsecured roll for collection. 10. Currently, there is no additional charge to fund the drainage services ~~-ithin County Scrvicc Area No. 25. Any new andior increased charges would need to be processed in accordance ~~rith the provisions of Proposition 218.
