WHEREAS, on July 13, 1999, the Board of Supervisors of the Co~~~nty o1~ Butte, adopted
Resolution 99-93, ~~ resolution supportin~~ a timber management plan known as Alternative ?,
considered as one of~ five altet~tuitives by the United States Forest Service, pursi~iant to the Herger-
Feir~stein Quincy Library Croup Forest Recovery Act, which implements nfive-year Pilot Project
on the Lassen National Forest, Plumas National Forest and the Sier-~aville Ranger Districts of the
~hahoe National Forest that arc located in portions of Butte, Lassen, Nevada, Plumas, Sierra, Shasta,
Tehama and Yuba Counties; and
VVHF,RiF;AS, on October 26, 1999, the Board o1~ Supervisors of the County o1~ Butte
considered whether or not to rescind their previous adoption of Resolution 99-93; and
VVHF;Rh,AS, on October 26, 1999, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte voted
to rescind Resolution 99-93;

pursuant to Government Code Section 54960.1, Subsections (e) and (1), rescinds Resolution 99-9~.
