RF.SOL.UT[ON HONORING RICHARD PRICF.
WHEREAS, Richard Price served as the Director of the Water Division of the County of Butte
from March 1997 through May 1999r and
WHEREAS, Richard Price volunteered to serve as the Director of the Water Division in
addition to his duties as the Butte County Agricultural Commissioner and Sealer of ~~tieights and
Measures and
WHEREAS, Richard Price contributed immensely to the implementation of the GroundGVater
Protection (Jrdinance_ and
WHEREAS, Richard Price in his capacity as Director of the Water Division was instrumental in
the evolution of the Water Division into the Deparn~~ent of Water and Resource Conservation; and
WHEREAS, Richard Price exhibits exceptional professionalism in all capacities of his life.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte hereby determine that Richard Price be recognized and honored for his dedication and outstandin~~
contribution and service to water issues in Butte County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 7th day of December
1999 by tl~-e following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Houx, Josiassen, Davis and Chair Dolan
