HomeMy WebLinkAbout99-170wr . ~~OAR"C) ~O"~ "SU P`~RV ISOR~ :E~,E~UNTY OF RL,.ITTE, STATE :QF CALIFOR[~IFA . ~ s {:~ Resolution No. 99-170 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DISTRICT ATTORNEY TO SUBMI"T ELDER ABUSE GRAN"T APPLICA"PION WHEREAS, Butte County desires to undertake a project known as the "Elder Abuse Vertical Prosecution Program" to be financed from funds made available through the Office of Criminal Justice Planning; NOW, "THEREFORE, BE IT KESOLVED that the District Attorney of Butte County is authorised, an its behalf, to submit a proposal to the Office of the Criminal Justice Planning and is authorized to execute on behalf of the Board of Supervisors an Award Agreement including any extensions or amendments thereof. BF, 1T FUR'T'HER RESOLVED that the applicant understands matching funds are not required for said. IT IS AGREED that any liability arising out of the performance of this Grant Award Agreement, including civil court actions for damages, shall be the responsibility of the grant recipient and the authorizing agency. The State of California and Department of Justice disclaim responsibility for any such liability. BE IT FUR"TREK RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
