AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 987 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "'SALARY ORDINANCE" ',
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, do ordain as follows:
1. That Ordinance No. 987 of the County of Butte is hereby
amended as follows:
(a) That Section No. 3 (A), entitled "SALARY PLAN FOR
CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES" be amended by adding thereto
Class Title Number and Range
Assistant Public Guardian 27 (525-654)
(b) That Section No. 43, entitled "VETERANS SERVICE &
PUBLIC GUARDIAN" be amended by adding thereto
Salary Range No. of Positions Classification Title
27 1 Assistant Public Guardian
changing the number of positions to 5.
(c) That Section No. 3 (B), entitled "For Classes with
Flat Rate Assignments. Salary rates for the following classifi-
cations will apply as indicated", be amended by deleting there-
f rom

and adding thereto

2. That this ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be published with
the names of the members voting for and against the same, once, in
a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 15th day of October,
1968, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisor Howsden, McKillap, Pryde and Chairman Maxon
NOES : None
ABSENT: Supervisor Dunaway
