Subject: Automatic Raises for Assistant Department Heads
Dear Honorable Butte County Board afSuper~isors.
I am writing you concerning the automatic raises for Assistant Department Heads. In a time where there are
County employees on layoff, there has been no colas far aver three and one half years and we the workers
have had to absorb two health insurance increases. This action of automatic raises for Assistant Department
Heads would be deplorable. I urge you to deny this action until al! workers can share in raises and our
keeping our PERS retirement.
