1 am a senior citizen and dependent on public transportation to .run my household and health care. It
takes preparation and planning to use the bus service for my private needs. I naturally assume the bus,
line has policies it adheres to,. That my safety and destinations are protected.
On Saturday, February 5, 201.6 1 attempted to catch the Bus 42 to North Valley Plaza. I walked to the
bus stop to find it totally occupied by a homeless person with alltheir possessions. I stayed back from
the bus stop but still in full view of the streets to see the bus arrive. It arrived pulled over back from the
bus stop and a passenger debarked. I am walking to the bus...,only a few steps away from entry
doors...the driver pulled away and left me standing! lie admitted that he was the driver and told me
that I wasn't in the right place for him to open the doors for me! I confronted him at the other bus stop
in front of Rehabilitation Center, enroute to downtown area. He admitted he saw me and that he
opened the doors for me to enter..a lie! I don't argue with low class, low information people...I
informed him that I had called the B-line Office...He said he didn't care.
On a previous experience this same driver left a man in a wheelchair and a citizen was telling the then
bus driver of the incident and saying that he was going to take care of it, He was very angry about the
referred to driver.
I had to wait for the next bus over an hour in an area of rehab offices inhabited by Enloe Hospital's
behavioral services all along the street near my apartment. I was forcibly placed in an area of physical
harm and stress waiting for the next bus to attend my needs. I called B-line and entered my complaint,
and was referred to a lady named Alexis in Administration. I called her..On Monday 2/8/16 1 called
B-line again and was referred to Bill ..this,Tuesday, 2/09/16 and I have not heard from anyone!!',11
This is a very bad experience(s) for the public needing public transportation and for B-Line reputation,
which is not the greatest at best....filthy bus stops and homeless transportation.
I will refer this matter to the Butte County Board of Supervisors. The referred to driver of Bus#2 is
unfit be a driver in iny opinion. Further lie places people in danger and is void of any ramifications.
