Dear Butte County Supervisors,
Please provide Butte Creek Canyon with the most protective zoning possible in the 2030 General
Plan. This Butte County treasure is one that we cannot afford to spoil. Protecting this corridor
for wildlife and the rural and agricultural nature is critical to protecting the waters that support
the Last Best Run of Spring Run Salmon.
Support the residents and friends of the canyon and Butte Creek and zone the areas in question
Agriculture with a minimum of 20 acre parcels and preferably 40 acre in critical habitat areas for
deer and eagles.
