The Butte County Fire Department has the full support of the Butte County Board of Supervisors for
the SAFER grant application submitted far firefighter staffing.
The Butte County Board of Supervisors understands and is committed to the obligations of the
SAFER grant. We are aware the Butte County Fire Department must maintain the staffing levels
supported by the grant, and cannot lay off any firerighters during the SAFER grant period of
performance.
