ofLand Management/BL&4\, are pursuing the development ofNonpoint Source (NPG) permits toensure negu|atnry
compliance and water quality protection on USFS and BLM managed lands.
In October-Decem�er 2017, the Lahontan Water Board and Central Valley Water Board held six outreach meetings to: 1)
inform the public about the permit development effort, and 2)gather initial feedback and concerns from stakeholder
groups on specific water quality issues on federal lands and/or the permit development process.
