On June 30, 2011, the U.S. Department of Agriculture granted a Secretarial disaster designation
for the primary counties of Glenn, Tehama and the contiguous counties of Butte, Colusa, Lake,
Mendocino, Plumas; Shasta, and Trinity due to agricultural losses caused by unseasonably
warm weather followed by freezing temperatures that occurred November 23, 2010, through
March 1, 2411.
The California Emergency Management Agency is providing the enclosed information regarding
this designation. Please inform potential applicants throughout your county of this designation
and information.
