On September 2, 2011, the U.S. Department of Agriculture granted a Secretarial disaster
designation far the primary counties of San Joaquin, Tehama, and the contiguous counties of
Alameda, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Contra Costa, Glenn, Mendocino, Plumas,
Sacramento, Shasta, Stanislaus, and Trinity due to agricultural losses caused by unseasonable
and excessive rain that occurred May 1, 2011, through June 28, 2011.
The California Err~ergency Management Agency is providing the enclosed information regarding
this designation. Please inform potential applicants throughout your county of this designation
and information.
