Box 942895 • Sacramento, CA 94296-(1{#01 (916) 663-7423 July 10, 2413 Dear Trail Enthusiasts: o ~~ .IUC ~ 5 20?3 ~ ~ A public meeting of the California Advisory Board for the Recreational Trails Program {RTP) will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the State Resources Building, 1416 9th Street, Sacramento, CA at 10:00 a.m. in the Sequoia Room located on the 9th filaor of the building. The agenda far the meeting is printed on the back of this page. The only action item on the agenda is the election of officers. Following the election, there will be an update on the status of the list of recommended projects for the non- motorized and motorized portions of the RTP from the FFY 2013 MAP-21 funding cycle, as well as updates on FFY 2014 MAP-21 funding cycle, which is currently on hold. Each state that receives funds from the RTP must have an advisory board comprised of both motorized and non-motorized enthusiasts. The board is required to meet at least once per year. Information regarding the non-motorized portion of RTP is avaiiable an the Depar#ment's web site at www.parks.ca.govlq_rants. The RTP motorized program information can be found at www.ohv.~arks.ca.c1©v. Interested parties are invited to attend the advisory board meeting and provide comments an the program. You may submit your comments in writing to the Office of Grants and Local Services, P.O. Box 942896, Sacramento, CA 94296-0001, or by fax at {916) 653-6511.
